This Privacy Policy explains what information Qurannotate collects when you join the waitlist and how we use it. Qurannotate is a Quran annotation app, and this site exists to let you register your interest before launch.
What data we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. We do not ask for any other personal information, and providing your name is not required to join.
Why we collect it
We use the information you provide to operate the waitlist and to send you launch and early-access communications about Qurannotate. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Where your data is stored
Waitlist data is stored in Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database. Access is restricted to the Qurannotate team and is used solely for the purposes described in this policy.
Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics are loaded only after you give consent through our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no usage data is collected.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you at any time. Email us and we will action your request. You can also ask to be removed from the waitlist at any point.
